What comes over

Every member's XP and level

Read from MEE6's public leaderboard, every page of it - up to 100,000 members. MEE6 and acrO use the same XP curve, so the same XP is the same level.

Your reward roles

The roles MEE6 hands out at each level, for the levels that don't have a reward here yet. Roles that no longer exist are skipped.

Or a CSV file

From another bot, or if the leaderboard has to stay private: a user ID and the XP on each line, up to 200,000 lines. /levels import from: CSV reads it.

How it works

Add acrO to your server
Press Add to Discord and pick the server. The invite asks only for the permissions the features use.
Run /setup, or pick a server pack
A few questions with buttons: the language, what kind of server it is, who your staff are. Every pack except Friends turns leveling on; otherwise run /module enable leveling.
Import the levels
Run /levels import from: MEE6, or press Import levels from MEE6 on the dashboard's Leaderboard page. MEE6's leaderboard has to be public for it: in MEE6's dashboard, Leveling → Leaderboard → Make my server's leaderboard public.
Set up the rest
/levels reward-sync gives the reward roles to everyone already past them. Turn MEE6's leveling off so nobody earns XP twice, then set up whatever else you need.

What your server keeps

Every member's level: the same XP is the same level.
Nobody goes down: a member who already has more XP here keeps it, unless you choose to replace.
Your reward roles, at the same levels.
Your MEE6 setup: the import only reads the public leaderboard, nothing is changed or deleted there.
Your XP stays yours: export it as a CSV file any time, on every plan.

How long it takes

About five minutes

/setup takes about two minutes. The import itself takes seconds for most servers: MEE6 hands the leaderboard over 1,000 members at a time, so only a very large server waits a few minutes.

Changed something on MEE6 in the meantime? Run the import again - imports are 10 minutes apart.

What doesn't come over

Level settings: MEE6's XP rate, level-up message and no-XP channels. Set them with /levels rate, /levels message, /levels ignore, or on the dashboard's Levels page.
Weekly and monthly leaderboards and message counts: they start fresh here. The all-time XP is what comes over.
Anything besides levels: welcome messages, custom commands and past warnings aren't copied. /setup asks for what you need.
Reward roles you couldn't hand out yourself - above your own highest role or the bot's, or with admin permissions - are left out. The import tells you how many.

Questions

Will members keep their exact level?

Yes. acrO uses the same XP formula as MEE6, so the same XP means the same level.

Our MEE6 leaderboard is private - now what?

Make it public for the import (you can switch it back afterwards), or export the levels to a CSV file and use /levels import from: CSV.

Can we import again later?

Yes. An import never lowers anyone unless you choose to replace, so running it again only fills in what changed. Imports are 10 minutes apart.

Should we remove MEE6 afterwards?

That's up to you. Turn MEE6's leveling off right after the import, so members don't earn XP twice; anything else can stay until you've set it up here.

Do we get a leaderboard page like MEE6's?

Yes. Turn on the public leaderboard page on the dashboard (Leaderboard): every member with XP, 100 a page, with all-time, weekly and monthly tabs and your reward roles. /leaderboard and /rank then get a Full leaderboard button that opens it.

Does the import cost anything?

No. The import, the levels and everything on this page work on the free plan.
